Connor Whitehead

Staff Auditor

Connor is currently a staff auditor who became an addition to the DeLeon & Stang team in November 2022. With a passion for providing assurance services, Connor primarily focuses on serving nonprofit organizations. He is approaching the one-year mark in the accounting industry and was first drawn to the industry because of the analytical and problem-solving skills required. Connor's academic journey led him to pursue a Bachelor's in Economics at the University of Mississippi. It was during his academic pursuits that he discovered his interest in the accounting industry, drawn in by the intellectual challenges it presented and the satisfaction of solving financial puzzles. He is very organized, detail-oriented, and driven, and he believes these attributes spur success in the field. He looks forward to continuing to learn and grow in his role under D&S leadership while creating close working relationships with clients.

Originally from Gainesville, VA, Connor currently resides in Arlington, VA. On leisurely days, you might find him on the golf course or venturing into nature for hiking and fishing excursions. Connor's passion for the outdoors allows him to unwind and find inspiration outside of the accounting world. One quote that emphasizes Connor's outlook on life is, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are."
