DeLeon & Stang Foundation Donates to Holy Cross Hospital in Honor of Allen DeLeon’s Retirement

GAITHERSBURG, MD, Jun 15, 2021—The DeLeon & Stang Foundation made its first donation since inception this week to Holy Cross Hospital to honor Allen DeLeon’s Retirement. Current Chair Thomas McElroy and Chief Development Officer Alisa Smallwood accepted the donation on behalf of the Holy Cross Health Foundation.
DeLeon & Stang Co-Managing Partners Richard Stang and Brad Hoffman attended the donation ceremony alongside Partner and Director of Administration Jeanie Price.
“As a board member of the Holy Cross Health Foundation, I was pleased that we could make this donation to support the mission of HCHF,” said Allen DeLeon.
Upon retirement, Allen DeLeon made the inaugural endowment to the DeLeon & Stang Foundation. The firm established the foundation to provide a legacy of charitable giving for retirees to local causes of their choosing. Allen has a longstanding relationship with the Holy Cross Health Foundation as a board member and will continue to serve on the board in his retirement.

The Holy Cross Health Foundation is a not-for-profit organization devoted to raising philanthropic funds to support the mission of Holy Cross Health and to improve the health of the community. Contributions to the foundation help Holy Cross Health to invest in new technologies, nursing education, clinical services, community health programs, renovations, and new construction.
